The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has announced the commencement of the 11th cohort of its AI Developers Group Training program in collaboration with the National Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR) in Abuja.

This initiative, designed to align with NITDA’s ambitious goal of training one million Nigerian developers, aims to bolster the country’s tech workforce by providing free monthly training sessions.

The program offers two distinct tracks tailored to different skill levels: Beginner and Intermediary.

These tracks are strategically designed to accommodate individuals with varying degrees of technical expertise.

The Beginner track is aimed at those taking their first steps into the world of AI and machine learning, while the Intermediary track caters to individuals with some prior experience in the field.

A key feature of the initiative is its inclusivity, as it is open to Nigerian youths aged 15 and above. This encompasses a wide range of participants, including NYSC Corps Members, students, graduates, and tech enthusiasts. However, it’s important to note that the program is specifically available to individuals residing in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) or those who can make necessary logistical arrangements to attend the training sessions.

Participants in the program will have the opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field, gaining practical insights and hands-on experience.

This training not only supports personal skill development but also contributes to the growth of Nigeria’s technology sector, fostering innovation and economic advancement.
