The Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo is leaving no stone unturned in his quest to transform the educational landscape of the state.
Accompanied by the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon.Taiye Abanika, the governor’s entourage conducted a meticulous inspection tour across key educational institutions, heralding a new dawn for learning in the state.
The tour encompassed Ebira Community Secondary School Ogaminana, expansions at Kogi University Kabba (KSUK) and Custech Osara, alongside the GYB Model School Building at ECSS Ogaminana. and Confluence University Osara.
During the tour, Governor Ododo expressed his determination to see all ongoing projects through to completion within his first 100 days in office.
He emphasized, “It is expected that all ongoing projects will be completed to mark my 100 days in office, showcasing our unwavering dedication to providing world-class learning facilities for the people of Kogi State.”
Commissioner Abanika lauded the governor’s commitment to education, highlighting the synergy with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He remarked, “Governor Ododo’s visionary leadership, in alignment with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, reflects a profound dedication to uplifting educational standards and creating opportunities for our youth”.
“These ongoing projects stand as a testament to our collective resolve to build a brighter future for all.”
These initiatives underscore the administration’s unwavering commitment to providing quality education at all levels, from grassroots to tertiary institutions.
The presence of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief of Staff, Commissioners, and other high-ranking government officials underscored the collective commitment towards realizing the vision of a vibrant educational sector in Kogi State.
Commending the Vice-Chancellors of the respective universities for their unwavering dedication, Governor Ododo emphasized the importance of creating a conducive learning environment for all Kogites and Nigerians at large.
