As former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, marked his 50th birthday, the Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Strategic Investments and Liaison with Federal Agencies, Chief (Amb.) Hassiat Ozavize Suleiman, has described him as a transformational leader and a key figure in Nigeria’s political landscape.

In a tribute released on Tuesday, Chief Suleiman praised Bello’s legacy of governance, calling him “a force” and “a political godfather whose influence in Kogi State and beyond is impossible to ignore.”

“You are not merely a former Governor, you are a force,” she said. “A bridge builder across political, ethnic, and generational divides… a leader who does not follow trends but sets them.”

Suleiman commended Bello’s contributions to youth empowerment, infrastructure development, and political inclusion, noting that his leadership “carved his name into the history of Kogi with bold reforms.”

She added that Bello’s political journey is far from over, stating that “Nigeria still stands to benefit richly from your insight, charisma, and fearless patriotism.”

“As you celebrate this remarkable milestone, I pray for divine health, renewed strength, and continued grace,” she concluded. “The lion still roars — and the world is listening.”

Bello, who served as Governor of Kogi State from 2016 to 2024, has remained an influential figure in the state’s politics and national discourse since leaving office.
