The Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development and the National Coordinator of Ododo Vanguard for Tinubu 2027, Hon. Abanika Taiye, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, joined party leaders and supporters at the G32 Ajaokuta APC Endorsement Rally held in Adogo, Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The rally was organized to mobilize grassroots support for His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo; and the immediate past Governor of Kogi State,
Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, for the Senate representing Kogi Central Senatorial District. The gathering also reaffirmed support for the continuity of
Hon. Barr. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi as the Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.
Addressing party faithful and supporters, Hon. Abanika Taiye emphasized that the endorsed leaders have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, exceptional performance, and unwavering commitment to development, making them eminently qualified for re-election and higher responsibilities.
Speaking specifically on the immediate past Governor, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Commissioner described him as a bold, visionary, and transformative leader whose administration laid the solid foundation for the growth, peace, and stability currently being enjoyed across Kogi State. He noted that Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello’s courage in leadership, commitment to youth inclusion, infrastructural development, and improved security remain enduring legacies that strongly justify his endorsement for the Senate.
On Hon. Barr. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi, Hon. Abanika Taiye described him as a true grassroots politician with a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of his constituents. He commended Hon. Barr. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi for his accessibility, responsiveness, and effective representation, stating that his strong connection with the people of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency has translated into meaningful legislative contributions and impactful developmental projects.
The Commissioner further stated that the achievements recorded under the leadership of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo have continued to lay a solid foundation for sustainable growth, infrastructural advancement, economic progress, and improved governance in both Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
He therefore called on the people of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency to give their total, united, and unwavering support to all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stressing that such support remains crucial for the consolidation of ongoing developmental strides and the sustenance of democratic gains.
Hon. Abanika Taiye assured the people that continuity in leadership under the APC would guarantee political stability, accelerated development, improved welfare, and the delivery of more people-oriented projects across the state.
