Ambassador Hassiat Ozavize Suleiman, Special Adviser on Strategic Investment and Liaison with Federal Agencies and the Alikeju Ejeh Olamaboro, has congratulated His Excellency, Governor Usman Ododo, on his first anniversary in office. She lauded his exceptional leadership, which has brought transformative progress to Kogi State across multiple sectors.
In a statement celebrating the milestone, Ambassador Suleiman highlighted Governor Ododo’s visionary focus on agriculture, strategic investment, and comprehensive development as a game-changer for the state. “In just one year, His Excellency has demonstrated what true leadership looks like. His dedication to repositioning Kogi State through bold and innovative policies is already paying off,” she said.
Ambassador Suleiman commended the Governor’s prioritization of agriculture, which has seen significant investment and revitalization aimed at boosting food security and creating jobs. “Under Governor Ododo’s leadership, agriculture has become a cornerstone of development. From empowering local farmers to attracting private sector investments in agribusiness, the results are evident in the improved livelihoods of our people and the state’s growing economic base,” she noted.
She also praised the Governor’s efforts in attracting strategic investments, improving infrastructure, and enhancing public services across various sectors. “His Excellency has successfully drawn critical investments that are driving industrial growth and economic diversification. Roads are being built, schools are being renovated, and healthcare facilities are being upgraded—all of which are positively impacting lives,” she added.
The Ambassador pointed out the Governor’s commitment to human capital development and youth empowerment, describing it as one of the hallmarks of his administration. “Governor Ododo understands the importance of investing in people. His youth-focused initiatives, skill acquisition programs, and job creation efforts are providing a brighter future for Kogi’s young population,” she said.
