Di Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq don Don kick-start di NEXIT/CBN Agri-Business Small and Medium Enterprises Investment Scheme N-Power beneficiaries dem Batches A and B wey dem don dey wait so tey.

Out of di 467,183 trainees wey show interest, 75,600 na im go participate for di first phase of di orientation programme wey dey expected to lead to collection of loans wey go reach up to three million Naira from Central Bank of Nigeria if dem qualify.

For di kick-start ceremony wey happen on Monday for Press Centre, Radio House Abuja, di Minister, wey dey represented by di Permanent Secretary Bashir Nura Alkali thank President Muhammadu Buhari for dis administration and all im efforts to comot poverty from di country and for di constant support and sustainance of di National Social Investment Programmes.

She also congratulate di 467,183 trainees wey show interest for di NEXIT CBN AGSMEIS programme from di 500,000 dem batch A and B exited im beneficiaries.

Umar Farouq tok say dis na di first of plenty-plenty other phases wey go take place in all di 36 states and FCT.

“Na my greatest desire to see say di exited batches A and B N-Power graduate beneficiaries go dey attended to for different channels, I don dey assure dis plenty youths say di Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development dey work very close wit Central Bank of Nigeria to realize dis dream.

“Today go mark di begin of di fulfilment of dis training wey we don dey wait, wey go enable di beneficiaries wey show interest to participate for di CBN empowerment programme.

“To make sure say everything go coole, we go conduct dis training programme in phases. Make I also tell una say all di 36 States and FCT go participate for dis so tey NEXIT training programme wen we dey wait for to come. Total of 75,600 participants dey for dis dem first batch of the training. We go continue to dey train di remaining batch as soon as em possible

“Di Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development dey very committed to make sure say we gather all di objective and plan of all di social intervention programmes sake of make we achieve di goals and objectives.

“​Di N-Power programme na ogbonge part of di National Social Investment Programme wey dey under di Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, wen dem design to achieve di National objectives of reduction of poverty and creation of job. Di N-Power programme dey important in area to help young Nigerians to get and develop skills wey go follow dem for life, and wey go ensure say dem sef go become solution providers and entrepreneurs for deir community”.

For him welcome address, di Permanent Secretary wey dey represented by di Director Planning, Research and Statistics Raphael Oraeluno tell di beneficiaries say make dem make use of dis opportunity well-well.

“I want make every trainee see dis unique opportunity as blessing wey dem must no waste. I remember how we take waka come reach dis point wey we dey so. Now wey una don finally get dis opportunity, make sure say una maintain di highest level of seriousness throughout di training programme and afterwards. As beneficiary, una go dey very equipped with di necessary training wey go guarantee say you go fit participate in the CBN package wey dey meant for dis purpose”.

Di National Coordinator, National Social Investment Programmes Dr Umar Bindir follow advise di beneficiaries to take advantage of di CBN package to be self sufficient.

At di end of the five day training, beneficiaries wey qualify go collect loan reach three million Naira with maximum tenure of seven years.
